Publisher's Description:Steven Crane is the Chancer, a man determined to succeed in a business world where there are few rules and the only rule to follow is to "look after No.1". The Chancer game combines business logic with a will to succeed by whatever method is appropriate - lying, cheating, blackmail, bluffing or just simple luck. Your main objective is to use whatever means you can to become the wealthiest player. Your second objective is to bankrupt your opponents by devious use of the red Chancer cards. |

Trev says:A spin-off game of a UK TV series from the dim and distant past - actually I don't know how far in the past because I never watched the programme. The main character must have been a fairly unpleasant person, though, as blackmailing your mates is a perfectly acceptable part of the game... Apart from that, the idea is that you trade stock in three companies with the other players and the bank and attempt to have the most cash when the final share price is revealed. It's a long time since I actually played this one, but I do remember that Sally rather liked it. |
