Hal Nicholls-Iggulden

Hal is a graduate of Mountview Theatre School and has acted in a number of plays and films. He is also the founder of Holdfast Theatre Company and our main director.

As a director Hal has consistently shown an ability to realise grand visions on stage and capture audiences with powerful pictures and provocative twists. Hal's most recent projects were Sartre's No Exit and Ariel Dorfman's Death and the Maiden in the Midlands and London, past work includes successful productions of Henry V, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet.

Holdfast is committed to bringing theatre classics closer to people and Hal has run theatre workshops in education. He has recently been invited to direct at a theatre festival in Germany.
