This is a list of other games that we have played at the club; chiefly between June and September 98, when results started to be kept.
- 6 Nimmt!
- Pretty popular card game.
- Adel Verpflichtet
- Klaus Teuber's bluffing game of art collecting.
- Ausgebremst
- A racing game. Car racing version of Ave Caesar with some additions.
- Avalon
- The players felt this game was hampered by the random resolution of draws.
- Bohnanza
- Trading card game. Played with too many to last very long.
- Cheops
- Not one of my favourite games but some of the members seem to like it.
- Der Ausreisser
- A cycle racing card game.
- Durch die Wüste (Through the Desert)
- Reiner Knizia's 'Go' in the desert. Loved by all except for the colouring.
- Elfenland
- Universally popular game that always has a close finish.
- Entdecker
- A game of island exploration that seems to get mixed reviews. We all enjoyed it. I seem to like most Klaus Teuber games.
- Exxtra
- Reiner Knizia gambling dice game. High luck content, but good fun.
- Eye
- Much too random without some rule changes.
- Falling
- Card game from Cheapass Games based on falling from a skyscraper. I haven't played, but the group seemed to feel that it was rather wierd.
- For Sale (×2)
- Card game of collecting sets.
- Formula 1
- The original F1 racing game. Mixed reactions, but no worse than Formula De.
- Formula Dé (Silverstone + Watkins Glen)
- The latest F1 racing game. Many of us find it a bit tedious.
- Holzwurm
- Only played one hand so difficult to guage properly.
- Kill Doctor Lucky
- A great game that was enjoyed by all the players.
- Koalition
- Card game of European elections. Went down well with a lot of players.
- Medici (×3)
- A popular game with the members of the group who like to plan their moves well.
- Meurtre à l'Abbaye (Murder at the Abbey)
- A Cluedo type game.
- Mississippi Queen
- Steamboat racing on the Mississippi. Good light fun.
- Montgolfier
- Something to do with balloons.
- Ohio (×2)
- Trick-taking card game where lowest card wins.
- Power
- Military build-up and attack game. I don't know how successful it was.
- Reach for the Summit
- Generally felt to be too luck-based for the group.
- Safari Jack
- A sort of discovery game from Cheapass Games. We all got caught for lots of negative points at the end of the game - so we would play it differently next time.
- Schnäppchen Jagd (×3)
- Trick-taking card game where you collect particular cards.
- Siedler von Catan (Settlers of Catan)
- Popular strategy game. A bit dependent on dice throws.
- Smuggle
- Bluffing card game that went down well.
- Städte & Ritter
- One of the expansion sets for Klaus Teuber's Settlers of Catan. Generally thought to be an improvement, although it does make the game longer.
- Stamp
- I haven't played this and I'm not sure what it's about.
- Sticheln
- Trick-taking card game where you have to avoid certain cards.
- Svea Rike
- Swedish conquest game. Enjoyed by those who played it.
- Vendetta
- Reasonable light-weight game of gangsters.
- Vernissage
- A Klaus Teuber game. I haven't played it myself.
- Wettsreit der Baumeister
- The town building by auction game. Pretty popular with the group
- World Cup Tournament Football
- Tactical game of getting your team to and through the final.
